Who we are
Hello Regulars is a loyalty service for local businesses, run by Virtual10 Pty Ltd (ABN 70 294 786 361). We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Customers of cafes using Hello Regulars: first name, last initial, mobile number, the stamps and rewards on your card, what you ordered on each visit, ratings you send us, and whether you agreed to receive texts.
- Staff and owners: name, work email, and role.
- Businesses: business details, menu, and offers, sales data from a connected point-of-sale system if the owner connects one, and billing details. Card payments for subscriptions are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
Why we collect it
To run your loyalty card, add and redeem stamps, send the texts you agreed to, and give the business insights about visits, sales, and offers. We don't sell personal information and we don't use it for advertising.
Texts
We only text you if you agreed at the counter. Reward texts and offer texts are separate choices. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts.
Who can see it
The business where you signed up can see your name, mobile number, and visit history with them. Businesses can't see each other's customers. Our service providers handle information on our behalf: our database is hosted in Sydney, Australia; our website host, our email sending provider (used for staff sign-in emails), and our payment processor, Stripe, are based in the United States; and our text message provider sends texts to your mobile.
